Some of you may remember August 2010 my dad was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and had the whipple surgery. After 8 years of being cancer free he was diagnosed in October 2017 with inoperable cancer in the remaining part of his pancreas and arteries around the pancreas. Since then it was a journey of chemo and radiation and many side effects. We are thankful this past August surgery teams from Mayo performed a surgery for the 1st time in the world. We are praising God he is cancer free but there still have been multiple trips to mayo hospital and unforeseen costs in all of his care. We praise the Lord that he is cancer free.
