It is with a heavy heart & much sadness, Jim & I find the urgent need to ask for finacial help with living expenses & our portion of medical bills. As many of you know, on Dec. 15th, Jim was diagnosed with small cell carcinoma lung cancer which spread to his brain stem, lymph nodes & bones. Jim has had 10 radiation treatments on his brain, & 1 chemo regimen treatment. Due to the radiation, his platelets were so low, he required 2 blood transfusions. He also develped a blood infection. This has made him extremely weak. We, (family & Dr.s ) with Jim's consent, have discontinued all cancer treatment. As a result of this decision, Jim will soon be on hospice.
As a result of Jim not being able to work, (comission only) our only income is our combined Social security. The medical bills are already coming in along with our normal household bills, which seem to be coming rather quickly. This was an extremely hard decission for both Jim & I to ask for help. I have done much praying & this is the answer GOD has given us.
I know there are some of you who are unable to help finacially, & this is understandable, but I DO ask for praye, our GOD is a mighty GOD~
