Jim Donnelly BGFD Cancer Fund

Meet Jim Donnelly. He's spent 25 plus years as a firefighter/ emt and 21 years for the City of Bowling Green Fire Dept protecting the people of Warren county. He Retired as a respected captain from BGFD. He has been diagnosed With stage 4 cancer which means metastasis to several different organs. He fought with Barrett's Esophagus for several years which eventually turned into Esophageal Cancer. This cancer is most likely due to his years with the fire service.

He has a loving wife Annette Donnelly that is a nurse at the Medical Center. His three boys are his pride and joy. Oldest son Jay Donnelly that has spent 20 years in the USMC. Middle son Justin Donnelly fire fighter at BGFD. The youngest Brian Donnelly works at Reinhardt food and hopes to one day also to be part of BGFD. All his kids have tried to follow there dads footsteps by serving and helping there community.

He has a love for muscle cars hunting and fishing. He can fix about anything with his hands. He's fixed many cars for people in need.
