Dear Community and Customers of Jim Dandy's,

As most of you know, Jim Dandy’s of Rutherford experienced a devastating fire early on 5/13/2020.  First and most importantly, there were no injuries, but however, there was significant damage to the restaurant structure, especially in the kitchen area. They also have about 18 total employees who will now be completely out of work until the restaurant can open up again. 

Brian Flynn has been there for the Rutherford community every single time that a school or community group had reached out to him for fundraising help. He always unequivocally said "YES" to support us in our fundraising endeavors throughout Rutherford and other surrounding towns. Most recently during the unprecedented COVID pandemic, as he attempted to adapt his restaurant to survive businesses closing everywhere, Brian had dedicated his local business to helping healthcare workers and 1st responders with PPE donations and selling essential grocery items to our neighborhood.  Now, it is our turn, where we are presented with the opportunity to give back to him to help Jim Dandy's rebuild so that they can serve us those delicious BBQ RIBS & buffalo wings again!

Brian has stated that he will continue to support Veterans, Rutherford community groups, its residents, and the other surrounding communities as they have always done.  Many residents have offered to help them and on behalf of Jim Dandy’s of Rutherford and its employees, we are truly humbled. 

As hard as it is to ask, they have accepted to receive help from me, Dawn Avagliano-Schumacher, for fundraising on their behalf.....I have made sure that the entire account will also be directly connected to Brian Flynn and Jim Dandy's as the business owners. 

Along with the help of the local communities and residents such as yourself, they will indeed be back stronger than ever before!
