This is for my stepdad Jim, he is an amazing person who met my mom when I was 12 years old, my parents had divorced and he was brave enough to join a family with 6 kids ages 7 to 15. We lost my mom and his wife when I was 17 . My bio dad was abusive and Jim fought for custody of me and my 3 younger brothers and won. He protected us and was there for us when we had just lost our mom. I am forever grateful for him standing up for us when noone else would and fighting to keep us together. We were so blessed when, his now wife Megan and her 2 sons joined our family. So by then he had 8 kids, none biologically his but he was the best dad we could ask for. He was recently diagnosed with liver cancer and has been in and out of the hospital the last 6 months. He has tried chemo, but he is also having issues with his heart and his health isn't allowing him to continue with chemo treatments. Jim is planning on coming home on hospice, and Megan has been taking lots of time off work to take him to appointments and treatments, and she has used just about all of her paid time so now any time off will be unpaid, I would like to raise some funds to help with bills and assist with his care.
