Just wanted to let you know who we are talking about here. He also played Guitar on Ringo starr’s big hit album including all 3 hits<Photograph><Oh! My My> <You’re 16 You’re Beautiful & You’re Mine> also recording with John Lennon on his Rock & Roll Album Including the hit “Stand By Me” and played on some of Joan Jett’s early demos through her manager Ken Laguna who played keyboards with the Marzano-Calvert Band way back when.

That was then-Now is now. Jim was in pretty good health <only one pill and only one doctor and getting back into creating new material -and then out of nowhere Jim was diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AFib) and will need an operation to prevent a stroke or heart attack. Caught off guard, he is in need of more financing to get through this and back on track with his life and his music. With the millions of fans who listened and loved his music we’re hoping they will help him with their donations through his GoFundMe page

Jim says: this was taking a big toll on my health especially breathing and swelling on a daily basis-and this was a big set back with my music as well, I believe this will enable me to get through this with a complete recovery and any remaining monies I will put to use in finishing these new concepts and give back to the millions of fans something to be proud of in today’s world

I’d like to give a big shout out to Tommy James, we’ve been friends since 1965 – to Frank Jeckell <family friends>and the1910 guys - and to Jay, Sandy & Marty with the new Jay & Americans- & Joan Jett, Kenny & Meryl for their support also to Bill Turner 1970s lead guitarist for Bill Haley & the Comets and “Tuesday At Eight” with Grady & Mike <all friends>

They all helped by putting my post on their web sites –that says a lot-Go check them out- everyone of these acts have been around for 50 or so years—and that’s no accident -you don’t last that long by faking it -they’re the real deal -go check them out in person –you will feel better for it – as Bert would say ”we’re all playing in the same band…right Artie!
