Jim Black needs help

Meet Jim. He's going to be 80 this year. He's a 30+ year army veteran, a father of 4, grandfather of 7, and a friend to many. 5 years ago, he was an active senior, a member of the American legion, a woodworker, active with his church and community. 3 1/2 years ago, his wife of 50+ years passed away. 3 years ago, Jim started falling, landing him in the hospital. He was diagnosed with spinal stenosis, and has since lost the use of his legs. Jim spent the next 2 years in various hospitals and senior rehabilitation centers. He wanted to come home, to be in the last space he shared with his wife and 3 of his children. He struggled with his health, and his heartache to be with his wife.
In October, he contracted Covid and pneumonia. He recovered, and fought to have a final Christmas with his family.
At the end of December, he decided he couldn't fight anymore and he went into hospice care. He declined rapidly, but passed peacefully with the daughter he loved and the dogs he adored close by.
Now the family is stuck with the hard truth that Jim is now gone. They are seeking help with his final costs.
