Jim Bernuth's Memorial Bench

Jim loved beauty, especially in nature.  He always took the time to take a rest and appreciate the wonder of a view, a wildflower, a feeling, or a memory in the making.  As his mountain climbing, river rafting, backcountry skiing days came to an end, he did not lament the loss of such grand adventures.  He found new adventures of the heart, a little closer to home.  Towards the end of his life, he loved to adventure in the botanic gardens with Mary, his children, and his grandchildren, delighting in the magic of that place and the joy of his family.  That is where some of his favorite memories will live on, and where those of us who love him can remember him, too.  A place where he can sit with us while the flowers bloom forever.  We welcome contributions to dedicate a memorial bench in his honor at the Denver Botanic Gardens and once complete, we welcome you to visit his bench for years to come.  All contributions over the goal will be donated to organizations he loved.  Thank you for giving, as Jim did every day of his life.
