In loving memory of Jim Atkiss
It is with deep sadness we share the sudden, unexpected loss of our partner and friend Jim Atkiss. We lost Jim during their shift, working with their partners, wearing their green apron Tuesday, March 8th. Jim touched so many lives and will be remembered by partners & customers here at Starbucks for their kindness, willingness to help others, hard work, and dedication for the past 9 years.

Jim was beautiful in every possible way, they lived life with pride, joy, passion, and happiness. They lived a fascinating life outside of Starbucks, being a loving husband and an excellent father to their beloved pets. We have lost a friend; one who always listened and always cared for their partners. One who was kind and warm, one who always found a way to make you laugh. Jim was a kind soul and a unique person, one who will never be forgotten – Jim was our partner, and will always be remembered in our hearts.
We ask that if you are able, you give generously from your heart to his beloved grieving wife Monique – to help with funeral and memorial arrangements and other associated costs during this hard time.
We are asking for $23,280 to represent his home here at store 23280.
