Jim and Charlene Need Our Help

On June 13th, Jim and Charlene were flying back from visiting family in Italy.  While on the plane, Jim suffered a stroke.  The plane was diverted to Gander, Newfoundland where Jim received excellent care in ICU.  He was then air ambulanced to Ochsner Neurological ICU in New Orleans and then stepped down to the Neuro Unit until June 19th . He is now in the In-Patient Rehab Unit at Touro Hospital in New Orleans where he will be until further notice.

They are not yet aware of the total costs for the air ambulance flight, the ICUs, and rehab stays.  In addition, Jim will need various therapy and structural revisions when they return home. They also may need help with housekeeping, etc., as Charlene was scheduled for shoulder surgery that was cancelled due to Jim’s stroke.

These are two of the most loving and giving people I know and it is time for us to help them in a significant financial way.  If you are unable to help financially, please continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you for your consideration & kindness.
