Jim and Amy Vickers

Jim and Amy are my neighbors. Last night, July 9th, their home was struck by lighting. They are both in their 80's and were very lucky to make it out in time. They lost everything. Jim even lost his dentures. Amy has terrible back issues and is confined to a sofa. They will be depending on friends and neighbors to help with emotional support and to get them back on their feet. Insurance WILL cover the home, but that will take some time. Right now, they need groceries clothes and other necessities that were destroyed. They will be living in my guest house for as long as they need it. I hope you will help me overwhelme them with generosity and hopefully help them worry less about how they're going to cover these immediate needs.
