Jim & Donna Miller Barn Fire

Jim and Donna Miller lost their barn on June 29th due to a fire. At 3:40 AM lightning struck the barn and within minutes the fire had taken over. Jim tried immediately to get the animals but was unable. While listening to the cries of the trapped animals, he fought to save the rest of the animals and equipment in the side sheds. He was able to get the donkeys out and couldn’t do anything about his machine shed because it was too hot. They lost the barn, a vehicle parked inside, they had damage to both side sheds and lost 42 animals in the fire.

They are unable to start rebuilding or adding any of the animals back because the insurance won’t cover most of it. If you’re able in these trying times, please consider donating to help.
