Jill's Journey: Fighting for Family

Hi everyone, my name is Chris, and I'm sharing Jill's story - a story of strength, resilience, and the unwavering love of family.

It all began Sept 13th 2023 when Jill received a life-altering diagnosis: Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Her2 positive and hormone negative breast cancer. Since then, she's embarked on a courageous battle, starting treatment October 5th 2023. Now, she's gearing up for her fifth round of chemotherapy on December 28th, one hurdle closer to the final one.

Jill isn't just fighting for herself; she's the heart of her family. As the K-12 Director of Arts at Valley Christian High School in San Jose, CA, she's touched countless lives with her passion and dedication to the Arts. Jill continues to support her two boys sports and academics, and also Caleb's Water Polo coaching. While she faces the physical challenges of cancer, her loved ones face the emotional and financial burdens.

Jill is a loving wife to Caleb and an incredible mother to Caden (18) and Jack (15). They've held each other close throughout this journey, but the financial impact has become increasingly difficult. With Jill's salary reduced to 60%, everyday necessities and monthly bills have become a growing concern, and recent medical and ambulance bills for Caden's appendicitis have not helped.

This GoFundMe campaign aims to alleviate some of those pressures. Every dollar raised will go towards ensuring the family can stay afloat during this critical time. This, in turn, allows them to focus all their energy on what matters most: Jill's fight.

Jill's battle is not new to many of you. You know her kind spirit, her unwavering determination, and the love she pours into everything she does. Cancer may have thrown a curveball, but it hasn't dimmed her spirit or the love that surrounds her.
