As many of you know, Michael and I moved from Irvington, NY to live on our Allures 45.9 sailboat.  We have been able to travel to some remote places in the Caribbean this year and we make a point to bring books to schools and read to children.  Reading, learning, and giving back has been a tremendous experience for us!  Being a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for twenty-five years, I crave frequent interactions with children, and our books allow me to connect with communities in a positive way.

This is why I have decided to start a gofundme campaign for my 50th Birthday.  I want books so that I can sail, connect and donate to children around the world.  I don't want or need anything else, and if you try to send me a different gift you won't be able to, because I don't have an address anymore!  

I will use your gifts to order books at the end of March and have them delivered to Puerto Rico, where we will pick them up.  Then I will post pictures and blogs about where your book gifts are distributed.  What a great 50th year it will be!
