Jillian's wish

Hi I would like you to meet Jillian ! I met Jillian and her Mom when I was her private nurse in her home about 15 years ago . Here is Jillian's story- She was left a paraplegic from a car accident when she was only 5 years old. She spent months in rehab trying to gain strength in her upper body and learn how to function without the use of her legs. Her school was not accepting of her return since " kids like that need a special school. " The family had to change schools. She excelled and was an inspiration to others. Always positive, always finding ways to accomplish the things she wanted to do. She went to college and earned a Bachelor's Degree, got a job, and an apartment, and a horse! Fast forward to June 2022, she thought she had a bladder infection which turned out to be cancer, a very very aggressive cancer. Within weeks it had spread to her liver (stage 4). She started chemotherapy, the tumors shrunk, doctors thought that with continued treatment they could keep it confined to the liver. She has had ten hospitalizations due to infections and in early May 2023, the cancer had spread to her lung and ribs( which have now fractured). Jillian has a bucket list to complete in the short time she has left , to ride her horse again ( which she did with the help of friends), go to the Point in Pittsburgh to enjoy the river, and to take an Amtrak train to Florida to go to Universal Studios. She is a massive Harry Potter fan. Her mother is a single parent and had to leave her job to care for Jillian and Jillian can no longer work. The Mom does not have the funds to grant her daughter her last wish. We are hoping to raise enough to make it possible for her to see Harry Potter while she is strong enough to travel. She has been an inspiration to so many and struggled most of her short life. I wish you could see her smile and see how she lights up a room. She always smiled and never complained. A true inspiration!
Please help make this trip to Universal possible for her. Please donate and share this so we can help a single Mom make her daughters last wish come true !
