Jillian’s Adventures

One of my hobbies is the study of cultures, languages, and history of many countries around the world.  This year 2 amazing opportunities have been presented to me.  Did you know that the Hirigana alphabet has 46 characters?

Opportunity number one
During the 4-H exchange I will be staying with a host family, experiencing their culture, and learning their language in Japan. This will be a month a long experience I’m sure I will never forget.

Opportunity number two
On a ten day trip with my school I will be learning and witnessing the art, architecture, faith, history, and culture of Italy.

As I don’t believe in receiving without work I will be doing a draw for those who donate to my adventures where you will have a chance to win a crocheted Afghan made by yours truly.

Some people are only granted one big opportunity in their lifetime, I have been fortunate enough to have been given two. With 4-H and school I can go to Japan and Italy.

I am glad to have so many people in my life who are willing to support me and thank you to all those who do.  Thank you
