The Kinane Family

This week we had to say goodbye to a wonderful husband, dad, son, brother, uncle, friend, and hero. Patrick Kinane loved his family unconditionally and always wanted to make a difference in this world. He was kind, young at heart, loved to laugh, and help others. Even at the end, he saved six different lives as an organ donor.

Patrick proudly served his country as a Marine like his father and brother before him. Unfortunately, like many other brave men and women, he struggled with anxiety, depression, and PTSD. This was exacerbated last year when they lost their daughter, Nina, at 38 weeks pregnant. 

Jill tried everything to help Patrick get well and Patrick fought so hard to overcome his mental illness. Tragically, he lost his battle.

My sister, a stay at home mom, is 23 weeks pregnant, has two wonderful sons, and a huge hole in her family that can never be filled. She is one of the strongest women I know, but she has been confronted with so much tragedy so close together. I want to help her in any way possible as she is now a single parent left with medical bills, loss of income, loss of insurance, and an unknown future. I know she will persevere, but this will forever change all of their lives.

Many people have asked me how they can help and it truly warms my heart. As she navigates these new obstacles, I kindly ask and would love if our family, friends, and community can come together and support her and her growing family.
