When I met Jill, she struck me as someone who speaks to angels. She uses her intuition to follow what she knows is best – just like her 16-year art therapy practice, which is all about helping women and young people use their intuition to access art to heal from trauma.

When Jill was diagnosed with cancer, she had a GIANT motivation to live - her daughter was just SO YOUNG to lose her mother. So Jill did all the things that the medical community told her to do – she had chemotherapy, radiation, and a double mastectomy (as two separate surgeries). All of it was exhausting and draining, and often outside of what Jill wanted to do. But she trusted the process, remembered why she was doing it, and went through hell. And then, to finally be on the other side of cancer meant that Jill was ALIVE! She was going to live and be there for her daughter.

But in January 2023, Jill received the worst news … the cancer was not eradicated. It was now back, in full force as stage 4. Moving into her bones.

What Jill wants more than anything is to be there for her daughter. As a spiritual person, it’s time for Jill to listen to her intuition. And this time, she needs to access treatment not covered by OHIP.
