Jill Cadman was an activist and humanitarian.
Jill was always working to shape a better world and her energy, drive, and determination were admirable. Her motivation to serve those considered “lesser” or disenfranchised was boundless. Whether a leader or a follower, Jill’s passion for justice and equality seemed infinite. Unfortunately, her brave battle fighting cancer was not.
Her friends at Women in Unity, the organization she helped found and lead, will be honoring her memory with a scholarship fund to benefit deserving female (or identifying as female) students at Jill’s son Luke’s alma mater, Morris Hills High School. Depending on how much we raise, we plan on offering at least one scholarship a year for the next 1-3 years. In this way, Jill's spirit for helping others can live on and benefit deserving students as they take on the challenge of college.
