Dear friends, neighbours, and kind-hearted strangers,

We are reaching out for help on behalf of my in-laws, Jill and Gerald Hill, who have just lost everything in a terrible house fire. Their bungalow and all their possessions are gone. They escaped with only the clothes they were wearing.

Tragically, due to an oversight, their home insurance was not renewed, and they have no financial support to fall back on. Both are proud people, always active in the community and known for their kindness and generosity. Now, in their greatest time of need, we hope the community can rally around them.

We are raising funds to help them with:

• Emergency accommodation

• Clothes and personal essentials

• Food and basic household items

• Rebuilding their lives after this loss
