Jigs Recovery Food Truck.
Donation protected
Hello, My name is Jonathan aka Jig. I have had a passion for the food industry since I was thirteen years old, baking bread and making a mess in my moms kitchen. I started working when I was eighteen years old and recognized very quickly in my journey that there were many people like myself who struggled with addiction and or mental health issues etc. I am now twenty-three. I realized how much this world needs to work on bettering our communities including ourselves. My plan is to first raise money for a vendor permit as well as basic equipment to start selling burgers and raising money for the food truck. In this process I plan on hiring fellow people in recovery from homelessness, addiction, and mental illness. Creating a friendly environment and a living wage for the people that join my family. Once the truck is up and running, I plan on using all profits to support multiple charities and causes across america. Ultimately I would like a self sustaining food truck that supports the community where it is needed, serving customers more than just a burger, but a purpose. You can find me on Facebook at Jigs Recovery Burger to keep up with the progress and to see where the money is going. I am going to be very transparent in what I am doing. I would also like to point out I am in sober living and I've been blessed with an entire community around me that can be a part of this and support me.
