Hi, my name is Arron, I rescued Jigsaw in september of this year. He's a sweet little kitten with a heart of gold, but recently I noticed he was starting to wobble. Two vet trips and £1000 later, he has been diagnosed with FIP - essentially, cat covid. Thankfully in recent years a treatment has been created for this awful illness, but with the condition being so rare, mosts vets have never treated it. Currently, we are looking at a 3 month treatment plan thats going to cost me £500 per month to recieve the medicine. I am a student doing my PGCE and have spent every last penny I have on my Jiggy, and currently I am unable to go to placement due to finances, as my entire savings have been spent on making him feel better. Most nights, me and Jiggy will sleep on the floor together, and I hand feed him at dinner. This is because the FIP has caused neurological problems, and therefore Jiggy can't support himself, often falling over and being unable to climb anything. The £1700 I am hoping to raise will go towards the 3 rounds of medication needed for Jiggy's recovery, and the extra £200 will go towards other veternary care as Jiggy has already had to have so many tests done., such as blood tests and tests for toxoplasmosis (which he is thankfully free from)

It is not like me to reach out for help in times like this, but I really need support in helping my poorly kitten feel better. He has already had such a rough start in life and I really want him to be himself again. I am so thankful for any and all donations, and Jiggy is too.
