Gina's Fight

Gina has been busy in her recovery with all of her therapies, but the biggest milestone is that Gina is WALKING! She is happy to go on outings, ride in the side-by-side and even help Kiley with wedding planning. Gina has her phone now, so texts and calls of support, comfort and friendship are welcome.  

Hi, I am Gypsy Ray, a dear friend of the Snow Family. We have updated the fundraiser again because Gina is HOME and now her recovery continues which will include physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and numerous medical appointments. The Snow Family is working hard to get Gina into an Aphasia Program, an intensive speech-language program that helps people recover or learn new communication techniques after trauma to the language centers in the brain. This will be expensive but is the best treatment for her to continue to improve her speech!

As you know, Gina Snow suffered a severe stroke due to a massive brain bleed on Monday, September 27, 2021.

She underwent brain surgery and recovered at St. Patrick's Hospital for nearly 3 weeks and then transferred to Craig Hospital, a world-renowned rehabilitation hospital in Denver, Colorado that specializes in the neurorehabilitation and research of patients with brain injuries. Gina was discharged on January 13, 2022, from Craig Hospital and all of the modifications to their home have been completed.   

Everyone who knows Gina knows that she is the rock of her family. She worked alongside her husband Brad at their insurance agency while putting their two daughters through college and keeping up with their home full of doggies in Huson, Montana.  She has a huge heart, she was the first to step up for someone in need by volunteering, cooking a meal, donating, or holding a hand. Let's do the same for her! The family appreciates all of the prayers and support they have received but imagine the financial strain this medical crisis and future care is going to have on them.

The family has an account set up at TrailWest Bank in Frenchtown and the fundraising to date has been transferred to that account so that they could access funds while Gina was in Colorado and now for her continued care at home.
