Hello, my name is Ashley Huggins Fordham. I started this Go Fund Me because we have had several friends reach out and ask is there anything they can do for us beyond prayer. We have been in hotels and Air B&Bs for 2 weeks now because we will not leave her by herself. As most of you know our mother had a stroke December 1st and they airlifted her quite a ways away from home so they could get her the best possible care. Because of the rare disease of her blood vessels the stroke has been hard to treat and she is now in a coma. We are still here with her waiting and hoping they will be able to do the revasculariztion surgery to help improve the blood flow to her brain. They are considering moving her to a long term care facility closer to home but first they have to do a trach placement and remove her from the vent without problems. So if you feel led we could use help affording the housing and food while we are here. Thank you so much for all your prayers. They are much needed. We continue to hope for a miracle for her. And we thank you for your willingness to help us stay with her during this difficult time. We wouldn’t want to leave her side just as she wouldn’t leave ours. Thank you again for your help!
