Hello everyone! If I could just take a moment of your time to tell you about my nephew Keegan Lugene Williams it would be greatly appreciated!
Keegan was born with a condition called club foot.. This condition caused his feet to turn in and up instead of out and flat like the "normal" so from birth he has been in everything from full leg casts to correctional boots and everything in between. Typically club foot is corrected by age 7 if not far before then, with doctors scratching their heads as to why he wasn't making much progress by the age of 7. They decided to look more into his unique case, so with further tests and x-rays and ect. They discovered that Keegan was also born with a muscular disorder from his knees down called arthrogryposis, this disorder or disease has prevents Keegan's muscles from reforming strong enough around his bones to correct the club foot. So now just shy of 12 years old, Keegan is having what we all hope and believe to be his last big surgery at the Mayo clinic. on Keegan's left foot, withwork this device he will have to go back to Minnesota to the Mayo Clinic every week to have the screws adjusted. As we all know medical bills are just a small part of the non stop piling of expenses for something of this nature. I am asking for your empathy and help because he is the strongest most spirited individual I have ever known. His parents have been paying out of pocket for all these expenses and still raising four children, it hasn't been an easy road but it's all worth it in the end!
