Laura's Fight Against Chronic Lyme

Laura has been ill for 3 years now. She is 29 years old and a mother of 4. She is mostly bed ridden and constantly in severe pain. Her heart is failing her and her body does not work properly. Our doctor called us in yesterday to stress how important it is that we get Laura to the mayo clinic. We have told him several times it was impossible due to cost. However, this visit he really pushed for it. Laura is slowly dying. This is about our children more than anything. We do not want her to leave them behind. We must get Laura well! We do not know how long she will be gone or how much the treatment is going to cost. But we know it will be a lot of money. We need travel expenses and childcare to make this happen. This is all going to be very expensive. As you can imagine, childcare for 4 children for an unknown amount of time racks up. We are already living outside our means with how much Laura's inability to work and illness has cost us. So we need help to save her life! Our children need their mommy! Laura has been unable to care for our baby for 8months now. Not only does Laura want to live but she wants to be a mommy again to our 4 kids. We are hoping that the Mayo Clinic or a similar clinic can not only save her, but give her quality of life again. So much has had to be pushed aside as Laura's illness has progressed. This has been so hard on our family. The mayo clinic is our little light of hope.

Update:
We are now in the process of care. We have found amazing doctors in Texas. A fantastic Lyme specialist, a wonderful neurologist, and the most AMAZING cardiologist.
We are currently needing funding for our next trip. Lots and lots of testing! Laura's care is very expensive and the cost of traveling with 4 kids is overwhelming.
Please help if you can so we can continue on this path of healing.
