Funeral expenses for Kevin Rodriguez

My name is Jessica Foster and I am raising funds to help with funeral expenses and additional expenses for Kevin Rodriguez for his loving fiancé Vanessa Reyes.

On the morning of August 10th 2023 Kevin lost his battle with cancer. Kevin was diagnosed with stage IV colorectal cancer just 12 months ago. Over the course of the last year Vanessa and Kevin fought with everything they had to try and find a cure or give them more time together.

Unfortunately, no matter what chemo they tried or the multitude of oncologists they saw traveling as far as Texas the cancer continued to spread. They made the difficult decision to go on hospice and Kevin passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and friends.

Instead if planning for a wedding, Vanessa and Kevin’s family are forced to plan for a funeral. No one plans for a funeral at 36 years old. I am hoping that together we can help ease the financial burden so that his family can focus on grieving and honoring Kevin.

A little about Kevin:

while I only knew him for a few years the love and happiness he brought to Vanessa was evident. His infectious smile and optimistic personality was a light in so many of the lives he touched. When he was first diagnosed, he told Vanessa that it was just another obstacle to overcome. He was resilient and brave and I feel honored to have gotten to know him. He brought so much happiness to my best friend, my sister and my heart breaks that they won’t be able to have the life they dreamed about.
