We're apart of J.H. Rose High School's Mock Trial team. Mock Trial is an educational and amazing way that we can learn about the judicial system and prepare us for our futures, many of which include studying law. We're a hardworking group of diverse individuals who have come together to work as a team. Mock Trial has helped us gain valuable public speaking skills as well as crucial critical thinking skills. In mock trial, we receive a "mock" case in which we fill roles as attorneys and witnesses. We then go to competition and compete against many teams from all over by carrying out a "mock trial." In this trial, we are judged based on public speaking skills as well as the ability to think on our feet. We were selected to compete at the prestigious New York Invitational. We were 1 of 40 teams accepted out of 200 applicants worldwide. As we try to pursue bigger challenges we need your financial contribution(s). By supporting us, not only are you helping us compete in a worldwide competition, but also giving us a boost towards our future as being lawyers.
