We here at Kidron Volunteer Fire are asking for your Help.
When someone in our community has a problem they call 911 and our volunteers drop what they are doing and respond to whatever the emergency might be.
We have become one big family, and always try to help our brothers and sisters when they are in need. We are Firefighters and EMTs we think we can fix anything!!
But this time , we can't fix it,and are reaching out for YOUR HELP also.
One of our most dedicated Firefighters is Brian (Rudy) Hofstetter. He keeps us hydrated and fed with many drinks and snacks that he picks up on his days off of work. He is one of the best pump operators we have ever had. When you see a fire engine racing out of town to a fire, chances are, it's probably Rudy behind the wheel !!! Always willing to help with any task, and does it with a smile.
Rudy has been very sick for over a week, and has been in the hospital fighting for his life with complication from Covid19 that has resulted in pnemonia.
We are asking for some financial help for the medical as well as extra living costs that he will have on his road to recovery. Anything little but helps. Also keep in your prays that he can have the strength to recover and come home and return to good health.
#rudystrong
UPDATE: Rudy was discharged on Sunday, January 31st and returned home. The amount of improvement in 72 hours was nothing short of a miracle. He is still on some supplemental oxygen and will be off work for an undetermined amount of time. Any financial help you are able to give is greatly appreciated. God Bless You
