Vulkan Katastrophe La Palma- unsere ganze Existenz liegt unter 15 Meter Lava begraben

 

Offen gestanden wissen wir gar nicht, was wir hier sagen können. Denn uns fehlen immer noch die Worte für den Schock, von einem Tag auf den anderen nicht nur unser Zuhause, sondern die gesamte Lebensgrundlage verloren zu haben. Unser Traum, unser Paradies, und unsere Existenz - alles ist vom Vulkan zerstört worden.

Nach 2 Jahren harter Arbeit haben wir 2019 unser kleines Dörfchen "Pueblo Munay" mit einem Haupthaus und vier kleinen Casitas (Häuschen) für Gäste eröffnet.

 

Munay heißt übersetzt "Atem der Liebe". Und wir haben tatsächlich jeden Stein, jedes Mosaik, jeden selbst gestrichenen Fensterrahmen und jedes noch so kleine Pflänzchen unserer Ferienhäuschen und dem wunderschönen Garten drum herum mit Liebe behandelt.

In unserem kleinen Dörfchen stecken nicht nur unsere gesamten Träume und all unser Erspartes, sondern auch unermüdlicher Einsatz für die liebevolle Gestaltung und Beherbergung unserer Gäste.

Am 19.09.2021 hat die Erde nicht mehr aufgehört zu beben, da hatten auch wir am morgen das komische Gefühl, irgendetwas stimmt nicht mehr. Wie bei einem Geburtsprozess, wurden die Beben stärker und kamen in kürzeren Abständen. Aber dass die Neugeburt des Vulkans die Erde einige hundert Meter hinter uns öffnen würde, hat keiner vermutet. Wir sind mit nichts als dem, was wir am Körper hatten geflohen. Das war das letzte Mal, dass wir unser Paradies gesehen haben. Glücklicherweise leben wir, unsere Gäste die bei uns im Urlaub waren und unsere Tiere. Wir sind fassungslos darüber, dass der Vulkanausbruch uns alles mit einem Schlag genommen hat.

 

Genauso sind wir aber auch überwältigt von der ganzen Liebe und Fürsorge, die uns von Familie, Freunden, Unbekannten und vielen, vielen Helfern zuteil wird.

Von denen stammt auch der Impuls, mit dieser Kampagne um Unterstützung zu bitten. Wir brauchen das Geld um die nächsten Monate bewältigen zu können und wieder so viel Boden unter den Füßen zu gewinnen, dass wir Gedanken in eine Zukunft richten können. Wir danken jedem einzelnen von euch, der uns mit welchem Betrag auch immer unterstützen möchte. Für uns ist es vielleicht die größte Lehrstunde, all die Hilfe und Liebe auch annehmen zu können.

Catástrofe del volcán La Palma: todo lo que teníamos está ahora bajo 15 metros de lava

 

Para ser honestos, ni siquiera sabemos qué decir. No tenemos las palabras para expresar el impacto de haber perdido no solo nuestro hogar, sino también todo nuestro patrimonio de un día para el otro. Nuestro sueño, nuestro paraíso y nuestra existencia, todo ha sido destruido por el volcán

Después de 2 años de trabajo, en el año 2019, abrimos nuestro pequeño "Pueblo Munay"; una casa principal junto a cuatro pequeñas casitas para huéspedes.

 

Munay significa "aliento de amor". Y sí… cada piedra, cada mosaico, cada planta de cada una de las casitas, cada marco de ventana pintado por nosotros mismos y el hermoso jardín que la rodeaba fueron hechos y tratados siempre con mucho amor.

En nuestro pequeño pueblo no solo estaban depositados todos nuestros sueños y todos nuestros ahorros, sino también el inagotable y satisfactorio esfuerzo dedicado cada día a mantener nuestro hogar y atender a nuestros huéspedes con cariño y ahínco.

El 19.09.2021 la tierra no dejó de temblar. Por la mañana nosotros también tuvimos la extraña sensación de que algo iba mal. Como en un proceso de parto, los temblores fueron cada vez más fuertes y se produjeron en intervalos más cortos. Pero nadie sospechaba que el nuevo nacimiento del volcán abriría la tierra a unos cientos de metros detrás de nosotros.

Tuvimos que desalojar prontamente este lugar sin nada más que lo que llevábamos puesto. Esa fue la última vez que vimos nuestro paraíso. Afortunadamente estamos vivos, los invitados que estaban de vacaciones con nosotros y nuestras mascotas. Estamos aturdidos porque la erupción volcánica nos ha quitado todo de un plumazo.

Pero también estamos abrumados por todo el amor y el cuidado que recibimos de la familia, los amigos, los desconocidos y muchos, muchos ayudantes.

De ellos recibimos el impulso de pedir apoyo para esta campaña. Necesitamos el dinero para poder hacer frente a los próximos meses y recuperar el suficiente terreno bajo nuestros pies para poder pensar en el futuro. Agradecemos a todos y cada uno de los que quieran apoyarnos con cualquier cantidad. Para nosotros es quizás la mayor lección poder aceptar toda la ayuda y el amor.

La Palma volcano catastrophe: everything we had is now under 15 meters lava

Honestly, we don't know what to say. We do not have words to express the impact of not only losing our home, but also our entire patrimony from one day to the next. Our dream, our paradise, and our existence - everything has been destroyed by the volcano.
After 2 years of hard work, in 2019, we opened our little "Pueblo Munay"; a main house next to four small guest houses, renovated by ourselves.

Munay means "breath of love". And yes ... each stone, each mosaic, each self-painted window frame, every little plant and especially the beautiful garden that surrounded it were always made and treated with love and special attention.
In our small town, not only were all our dreams and life savings, but also the inexhaustible commitment to the loving design and accommodation of our guests.

On 19.09.2021 the earth has not stopped to quake, we also had a feeling in the morning that something is not right any more. As in a birth process, the quakes became stronger and came in shorter intervals. But no one suspected that the new birth of the volcano would open the surface a few hundred meters behind us. We had to promptly vacate this place with nothing more than what we were wearing. That was the last time we saw our paradise. Fortunately, we are alive, our guests who were on vacation with us and our animals.
We are devastated by the fact that the volcanic eruption on La Palma has completely destroyed all of this in one big swoop.

We are also overwhelmed by all the love and care we receive from family, friends, strangers and many, many helpers.
Thank you for motivating us to ask for support through this campaign. We need resources to be able to face the next few months and regain sufficient ground under our feet so that we can direct our thoughts towards a new future.  We thank each and every one of you who would like to support us with whatever amount. For us it is perhaps the greatest lesson to be able to accept all the help and love.
