A world without Kaine is something none of us ever expected to face so soon. His passing is a tragedy that has deeply affected everyone who knew him, and even those who did not can understand the heartbreak that comes with losing someone like him. Many of us are still in shock as we mourn the loss of our a friend, best mate, nephew, father, son, brother and uncle. Kaine meant so much to so many. He was a unique soul, caring, unforgettable, larger than life, and someone whose presence left a lasting mark on everyone he crossed paths with.

Kaine held a different place in each of our lives, but he meant a great deal to all of us. Most importantly, to Kayden and Karter, he was a father. Now, these two young boys are facing life without him. Anyone who truly knew Kaine knows that leaving his beautiful boys behind is something he never would have wanted. During this incredibly difficult time, we are asking for support to assist his family and friends in giving Kaine the respectful and meaningful farewell he deserves in Tasmania.

For anyone concerned, the assistance from this funding will help provide a place here in Tasmania (a headstone) where his boys, along with his family and friends, can visit him and feel connected. Although his funeral is being held interstate due to some unfortunate decisions, we want to ensure that everyone who loved him, especially his babies here in Tasmania, has the opportunity to say their farewell too. Things are taking time, and if it were up to me, he would already be laid to rest. Information about his memorial and headstone here in Tasmania will be shared as soon as possible.
