Jhenelle & Jada: Rising from the Ashes

Hi, I’m Jhenelle and my roommate name is Jada and we are just girls who woke up one day not knowing that we were going to lose our crib to a fire that had nothing to do with our apartment. Our neighbors crib caught on fire, while I was home alone and my roommate Jada was at work. It was a good thing I wasn’t asleep yet!! I heard screaming of fire from the window. Of course I did what all nosy neighbors do when you hear screaming about a fire. I ran downstairs and to my surprise I saw my apartment building on fire!! There was black smoke bellowing out the building at 3:50am on Hahns lane March 7 2025. My roommate lost so much, I lost so much over someone else’s negligence. If anyone could find it in their hearts to donate anything to help us restart and rebuild our lives back up, we would be so grateful, thankful and beyond appreciative for anything we get back.
