Wellll, he did it again. Jhaelen's car went head on into a redwood Friday night 5/1/20.
He suffered multiple fractures to his femur, a broken arm and shoulder. We're told he asked for a cigarette while waiting to be jaws-of-lifed out of the car (which was denied due to the fact everyone was standing in puddles of gasoline), so at least we know he stays in character even in the face of death.
He is currently in a hospital in Humboldt, where due to Covid-19 he is unable to receive visitors. but we have been able to speak to him, the nurses and the Surgeon by the phone. He had a rod inserted into the femur Friday night. there was a great deal of soft tissue damage, so he may need bone grafts in the future, time will tell. Due to the fractured arm, he will be wheel chair bound for quite some time.
We know its a tough time for everyone, but he's looking at another long road to recovery, and incredible medical bills with no insurance, so if you can spare anything at all, it'll help.
Thank you for anything you are able to spare, and we'll post updates here as to his recovery. And maybe we can talk him into staying away from machinery all together, he's running up a bad track record. But at least whenever he gets reeeeal low on his HP he seems to always make his saving throw.
If you know Jhaelen directly and would like further details as to the accident, his recovery or his direct contact info, please contact his father Michael Garcia.

**Cute childhood pic included to tug at heart strings (and yeah, he got hurt a lot back then too. That's a giant pogo stick he's holding)**
