Hello friends, family, and anyone who may come across this,
First, I would like to thank all of you for all of your good vibes, loving thoughts, and prayers sent our way.
Yesterday, we recieved a phone call from Mayo in Minnisota asking our family for a $19, 000 deposit to move forward with the upcoming surgeries that my mom will have to have on her mouth and face because we do not have her covered under an insurance that will pay for this at this time. The first of many surgeries at Mayo will take place on January 7th and financially, we are just not capable of that amount of money. This is where we need your HELP. Her jaw bone has turned to the consistency of pudding due to a bone disease that was caused by a tooth being extracted back in July and now they need to do further surgeries to replace the bone with parts of her hip bone with the hope that it will fuze correctly and become strong again. They have taken her off all antibiotics until the surgery so they can pin-point the exact bacteria they will be fighting when they do the biopsy of the bone. It is imperative that she have this done sooner, rather than later, because the longer she is off medicine, the more the bacteria is spreading in her body. This has been a very exhausting process and she has already had multiple surgeries thus far that just have not corrected the problem, so this is our only option! We do understand that the holidays have just passed and most people are finacially struggling at this time, but, if somehow everyone could muster a few dollars here and there, maybe we can make a dent in the financial burden.
We very sincerely appreciate every bit of help, whether financially, emotionally, or spiritually.
