Stage IV cancer patient needs help
Donation protected
Hello,
My name is Rob. I met Susan Borle Prahl two years ago. The picture you see is the vibrant, happy, hard working single mother of two that I fell in love with. Less than two months after dating, she was diagnosed with Melanoma and had it removed. Then it metastasized and spread, turning it into Stage IV cancer. Since then, she has undergone 6 more surgeries due to complications, resulting in extended hospital stays and 2 stints in ICU. She finally came home last October, but had to have daily IV's and ostomy care which I provided for her.
She is now back in the hospital for another surgery that will hopefully bring an end to this unending cycle of pain and frustration and fear. Unfortunately, due to the extent of her absence from work over the past year, her options ran out on Jan 21st of this year. She has lost her job of 8 years, and subsequently, her benefits. Even after she leaves the hospital, she will still have more tests, checkups, procedures, etc.
Her friends, family co-workers, and myself have done, and are doing, all we can to help this wonderful woman keep her home, her car, keep her mounting bills at bay, and give her the peace of mind she so deserves.
Any and all money raised by your generosity will go straight to dangerously overdue mortgage payments, medical bills, and help her keep up with monthly expenses.
I thank you for taking the time to read this. Susan's health problems do not define her, or her loving and giving spirit. And she doesn't deserve to have her future defined by this disease and the emotional and financial toll it is exacting.
Please help Susan. Any donation will be more than appreciated, it will be a small prayer answered for a woman that has unselfishly given every bit of herself to family and friends her whole life.
Thank you again, and God bless you for your help.
I MUST ADD: My FB friends from school and elsewhere have also stepped up in their supprt for her. Many of whom I haven't seen in decades. I have to thank them as well.
