Surgery for Drax

Hello all,

We never thought we'd be in this situation, but anyone who knows us knows that Drax is the baby of our family who we love and adore so much. Drax has been known to swallow a few pieces of toy here and there but unfortunately over the weekend of July 24th Drax must have eaten an indigestible amount of plants/grass or possibly something worse that has led us to today where he is being taken to the operating room for surgical removal of the foreign object in his bowel.

As many of our friends and family know we lost our previous dog, Penny, only 3 years ago and were blessed to adopt Drax a year later, because of this we chose surgery over the alternatives. Some may say it's silly to ask for money or for us to spend this much, but to lose him would be devastating to the family that Bon and I have built. We don't know the kind of financial hole this will create for us at this time, it will always be worth it, but we are hoping our friends and family will have enough sympathy to help us where they can.
