Hello everyone!! My name is Nicole Royster and I am a graduating senior at California State University Long Beach majoring in Theatre Arts -Performance .Being an actor has changed my life and opened so many doors for me personally,artistically and professionally .The past 3 1/2 years I have spent learning and training in this program at CSULB have been the most transformative years of my life and I am planning on continuing my training and growth in graduate school for acting in Fall 2019!By applying to 8 schools in addition to attending URTA (University Resident Theatre Association) Auditions and Interviews ,where I will have the opportunity to audition for 30+ more schools,I am casting a wide net of potential MFA Acting programs.Unfortunatley,URTA ,Cal Arts , Columbia University and USC do not offer fee waivers.I also have to pay materials fees to obtain an official transcript to send to NYU and upload a pre screen audition video .Here is a breakdown of the fees I have left to pay:

USC Audition fee: $20
NYU Audition materials: $40
Cal Arts Application fee :$70
Columbia University Application fee:$110
URTA Registration fee:$140
The extra money would go toward helping out with travel expenses such as plane tickets and hotel/lodging for the auditions in San Fransisco and New York .
I hate asking for help in any situation and I especially hate asking for money but I really don't want to miss out on this opportunity because of money.I know some of you are probably saying "Nicole, if you don't have the money to pay for these things then you shouldn't apply" and I understand but I keep going because I have this wild hope that I could possibly get into one of these programs and further my training,continuing the work I started 3 1/2 years ago.I believe so much in myself , the work I do and why I do it ,I want to at least try.Any sum big or small will be so greatly appreciated !I have made it this far with your love,kindness and generosity and for that I am so forever thankful!Thank you for your consideration!
