Save our Pre-School
Little Beebles is a small, charity run Pre-School in the village of Praze-An-Beeble. It is run by a committee of volunteers and has been a huge part of the village for many years, providing an invaluable service for families.
Unfortunately, as is the case with lots of businesses during these difficult times, Little Beebles is experiencing extreme financial difficulty. Often, during the summer term, numbers of children enrolled are lower however these figures increase after Christmas and the Pre-School is able to run as normal. Unfortunately, the Pre-School has been dealt the blow of having their rent increased a staggering 33% by the school in which they are based. This would be hard enough to pay for normally, however during a pandemic and without warning, it has threatened the future of the Little Beebles.
Staff members, who have been dedicated for years and are the beating heart of Little Beebles, have been handed their redundancy notices. With 12 weeks to turn things around, we are hoping to raise as much money as possible to keep this vital part of the village running its current, and future children. Putting their livelihoods aside, the staff members are desperate to keep Little Beebles open so that they can continue to provide children with the wonderful care in the same way they have been for many years to come.
The Pre-School also plays a vital role in feeding the school where they are situated with new learners every year, with almost all of its children moving on to Crowan Primary School.
We are looking to raise enough money to keep Little Beebles afloat for the next few months until numbers increase, meaning the Pre-School can carry on providing care to the community.
Any donations are so gratefully received, and we truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
