UPDATE: My mom’s truck needs a new transmission, which will cost $2K-3K with parts and labor. We have sunk $5K into this truck in the last few months and are not sure it’s the best idea to invest further in it since it is so old. We are looking at getting an older, used truck to get us between Brooksville and Odessa once or twice a week. Please consider donating to help us be able to make a down payment/monthly payments. For those of you who know her, you know my mom is a selfless, caring person who always does for everyone else and never for herself. She would never think to ask for help in any situation, but this is where we’re at in life at the moment. 2025 has been a real horror of year so far for me and my mom and it has caused emergency bills to wrack up. We are currently without working transportation. My vehicle was involved in an accident in January. I am working with someone to help me get it fixed, but parts will not be cheap. In the meantime, we have been using my mom’s 2004 Ford Sport Trac. Today, the transmission stopped working properly and therefore, it cannot be driven. We have been hit with many bills and issues starting the end of 2024 and into 2025. If you can help us raise money so we’re at least able to get our vehicles running again, that would be wonderful.
