Help the Flores Family keep their home

On Tuesday April 2,2019, Maryland National Guard Staff Sergeant  Dinora Flores died after being involved in a tragic crash along highway Route 30 in Baltimore.

The car driven by Dinora Flores, 33, of Damascus, was stopped in a left-hand turn lane when she was rear-ended by a flatbed truck. The force of the truck caused her to be pushed into the path of oncoming traffic where a tractor-trailer then hit her head on. This sudden tragedy has now left 3 girls without a mother.

There are people that come into our lives and touch our heart so deeply that we will never be the same.  Dinora was this person for all who knew her.  She created a deep bond, trust and love that life without her is unimaginable. Her daughters were her best friends and she always made sure she made time for them and created memories with them. Her strength and patience as a mother and as a dedicated soldier in the Maryland National Guard is commendable.

She was the type of woman that was respected and looked up to. She was the perfect role model for her girls and the girls of the community. She was a volunteer coach for the local girls on the run track team. She taught them strength, endurance and to not lose sight of their goals. She was a wonderful mother, an amazing friend and a loving sister. She was always willing to give 100% of herself. We realize now how lucky we were to have a superwoman in our lives.

Dinora lived in Damascus, MD with her 3 daughters, her mother and their 2 loving dogs. Dinoras' family would like to keep the family home. Losing the home would cause her mother, eldest daughter and their 2 loving dogs to be displaced. We cannot imagine ourselves having to pack up any of her things and leave the place where many family memories were created.  We want to guarantee that all her daughters will always have a home. A place that they will always be reminded of the love and caring nature that their mother always provided. The place they learned about long-standing family traditions.

The funds raised will be used towards the purchase of the family house.
