Anyone who has been lucky enough to meet Angie can attest that she is one of the kindest, strongest women you will ever know, and she has an amazing outlook on life even through her prolonged battle with diabetes. Our sweet friend, Angie Sheldon, has been diabetic since she was a child. Despite her efforts to stay healthy, she recently had to undergo partial amputation of her lower extremity due to circulation issues, and she is now in Stage 5 kidney failure, and has had to begin receiving dialysis.
Even with health insurance, her medical bills are becoming insurmountable. Angie is on the list for a kidney transplant and, even if insurance covers the transplant itself, the anti-rejection drugs are very expensive and will need to be taken for the rest of her life. Unfortunately, Angie currently doesn’t have any income, but she is doing everything she can to get back to work with her supportive employer. We are starting this page to raise funds to help support Angie through this difficult period.
