Help a Mom of Three & Nursing Student Restore Transportation and Stability

Hi, my name is Raven, and I’m a mother of three, a nursing student, and a caregiver who is doing everything possible to protect my children and continue building a better future for us.

I am currently going through a separation and divorce, and during this extremely vulnerable time, my husband took the only vehicle I had access to, leaving me and my children without any reliable transportation. This single act has created a domino effect that has impacted nearly every part of our daily lives.

Without a vehicle, I am struggling to:

• Get my children to school, daycare, appointments, and extracurricular activities

• Get to work and maintain income for my household

• Attend school-related obligations and clinical preparation

• Handle basic necessities like grocery shopping and emergencies

Transportation is not a convenience for us—it is a lifeline.

To make matters worse, my iPad, MacBook, and nursing school textbooks were also taken. These are not personal luxury items; they are required tools for my nursing program. I use them daily for lectures, assignments, exams, and clinical preparation. A police report has been filed, but while the legal process moves forward, I am left trying to function without the tools I depend on to succeed.

I am currently enrolled in a pre-licensure nursing program, working hard to secure a stable and meaningful career that will allow me to provide long-term security for my children. I have invested countless hours, resources, and sacrifices into this path because I believe education is the strongest way forward—not just for me, but for my kids.

Right now, I am asking for help to regain stability, specifically for:

• Vehicle assistance (temporary transportation, repairs, rental, or a reliable used vehicle)

• Insurance, registration, and initial vehicle expenses

• Replacement of essential school equipment (laptop, iPad, nursing textbooks)

• Short-term support for basic needs while I work to stabilize our situation

I am not asking for anything beyond what is necessary to keep my family moving forward. Every dollar will go directly toward restoring our ability to function day-to-day and ensuring I can continue my education without interruption.
