02/27: biscuit has continued to defy odds and has had a crazy few days. He ended up needing another surgery and extensive antibiotics from the vet. He is however, stable and seems to be doing a lot better overall. He is holding his head up now and has eaten some food, all good things! He has a long recovery ahead but so thankful he is back to stable! So thankful for the continued support from everyone. Donations have helped tremendously! Any more help will go to his bills, as he still has quite a few, but for now we are happy to report this update for you all! Thank you again for the continued support.
02/26: unfortunately, Biscuit took a turn for the worse yesterday evening. He was brought back to the vet where he stabilized some, however, the vet stated his biopsy of the tumors removed came back as hemangiosarcoma. Biscuit was sent home with Ron, on antibiotics (his fever has come down some) and an appetite stimulant. He is going to go home and hope he can turn this part around, however, biscuit will not make a full recovery. Not sure how long he will have left but Ron is going to go enjoy all he can with his boy now. Please continue to give what you can and help with the bills that have continued on past surgery. Ron begins his own rehab soon and needs all the help he can get with the hard news today. Ron, we are all praying Biscuit gets better through this and we are all terribly sorry to hear about the results of this. They don’t get long enough with us
2/23 update: biscuit made it through surgery and is doing well! We are still raising funds to help Ron with paying the remaining balance of the surgery costs, there is still a good chunk left. Thank you so much to those that have donated and shared. Happy to help Biscuit! He’s a good doggo who def deserved to make it through this!
Biscuit, a rescue from Georgia **, has been with his dad for many years now - helping him with all his needs but now Biscuit is sick and needs help! There really isn’t anything Ron wouldn’t do for his buddy, but currently, his dad has his own health and life situations, that puts his finances to a place he is not able to help (without too many personal details, Ron just had surgery himself and is on a leave of absence from work).
Ron needs our help because Biscuit needs surgery or he will need to euthanized. There is a mass on his spleen; in which the vet states the prognosis for biscuit is good as says most of these tumors are benign , but it must be removed or it will rupture and he'll die. Very painfully. He really doesn’t have a lot of time left, the tumor is bleeding and there’s only so long he can be kept comfortable before it’ll be too late.
Please help share and donate what you can! Many little donations add up. Let’s help Biscuit through this.

UPDATE 2/22 @1830: Biscuit is scheduled for surgery tonight at midnight. We still need help with funds! The clinic allowed Ron to make a significant deposit and are going to operate on the multiple masses on his spleen, so he is not out of the woods yet! Please continue to share and help donate, it adds up! Ron is “SO VERY THANKFUL WITH THE OUTPOURING OF LOVE FROM YOU ALL ! Thank you everybody”
