Those of you who know Kristy Serratos know she is a fighter. She has had to be, from the time she was a child. She has fought long and fought hard , being an inspiration to us all and now she is fighting for her life.

On Friday, August 6, 2021, Kristy suffered major organ failure and underwent heart surgery. She has been in ICU since the 6th, on an artificial lung, ventilator and dialysis. Her prognosis is improving but as the doctors said this will not be a sprint it will be a marathon and may include future surgeries and a potential transplant.

After a long personal struggle Kristy was working to live her best life. This was not part of the plan. The medical bills are already astronomical and she is only 5 days in. If she is transferred to another hospital out of state there will be travel expenses for the family.
