My name is Danielle and my fur baby's name is Ollie. He's my family and my best friend.

In June of 2024, he got sick with an inner ear infection. This initiated severe neurological issues for him and with further testing (MRI & Spinal Tap), it was determined that he also had meningitis. We battled all of this through Hurricane Helene, in Asheville, NC. He overcame all of his symptoms and is scheduled to complete his final treatment in November.

I've been fortunate enough to not need to ask for help until now. Thursday evening he was admitted into the S.A.V.E.S. hospital with a fever and vomiting. Diagnosed with gallbladder disease and gallbladder mucocele. Good news, he can live happily without a gallbladder, but it needs to be removed. I hate having to ask for help, but we're in a tight spot. Any amount would help to ensure my little bean gets through this for more years of snuggles and love.
