Support Kelvin as he recovers from Covid-19

We are raising money to help with Kelvin's medical expenses, therapy, and supplies not provided through insurance.  We will also use this
blessing of funds to cover additional bills that we have incurred as a result of this unfortunate situation.   


My husband Kelvin Jordan has been hospitalized with COVID -19 for more than 9 months. During this time, he has had three blood transfusions, was on a ventilator, slipped into a coma for three months and did not eat on his own for almost eight months. He recently woke up and will finally be coming home this Saturday, August 28, 2021, after being moved to three different hospitals as he fought for his life. The city of North Chicago will provide him a police and fire escort to our home as the city has appreciated his service to the community over the years.

Me and my husband have run a local food pantry in North Chicago, Illinois for over 16 years as volunteers and we were feeding homeless people and the community at large when my husband contracted Covid. Kelvin has dedicated his life to helping others so you can only imagine how hard this unfortunate situation has been on our family. I've been by his side every step of the way praying and advocating for him to ensure that he is getting the best medical care possible. Kelvin has a long road ahead as he recovers. He is currently bed ridden and will have to learn to walk again. We are in continuous need of services as he recovers from this deadly disease.
