Hey everyone, thank you for clicking on my gender-affirming surgery (and apartment move) fundraiser page!

It feels like a good omen to launch it this week, right before Rosh Hashanah (the Jewish new year), which also marks exactly five years ago since I introduced my body to the chaotic princess known to some as estrogen.

There is no way to say this without sounding a little corny, but the last half-decade, which also included two major gender-affirming surgeries, has felt like a slow and persistent removal of the blocks preventing the stream of life from flowing through me.

I want to keep this momentum going, so I scheduled two additional gender-affirming surgeries for November 1st. I hope this will allow me to put this intense body excavation part of my journey behind me.

My insurance covers these procedures, but since I’ll have to take extra time off some of my physically demanding jobs and move out of my place on December 1st, it’s just a lot to save up for. That is why I am asking my community for support by raising $4000, hopefully allowing me to ride out this recovery and move with relative ease.
