Who My Brother Is
Anthony is a talented barber in east Tulsa who loves cutting hair for his community. He suffered an accident where his right hand and 7 tendons from his hand through his wrist were cut along with serious nerve and muscle damage. He had to have two surgeries and will have a long road of physical therapy ahead of him. The surgeon explained to us that his hand will never be the same and he will not be able to use his right hand anymore which is devastating for him because his life's work is in cutting hair.
He doesn't have health insurance because of the field of work he is in and because of this, the medical bills are outrageously high and are currently at $78,000. He is also out of work and unsure of what work is going to look like for him now that he can't use his right hand.
We understand that everyone is experiencing hardships through this COVID-19 pandemic but anything will help us. We need help with paying for his medical bills, physical therapy, groceries, and living expenses.
I've also started a Meal Train for him where you can sign up to bring him/send him (b/c of COVID) a meal or help him with taking his dog Snoop out.
