Hi I'm Tasha, Jetty's mummy, she is my first baby and her pup my granddaughter. I have no human children so these are my babies.

Jet has been diagnosed with Lymphoma a cancer that effects the lymph nodes system.

Jet is 11.5 years old and a much loved family member, niece, cousin and granddaughter.

She is a Staffordshire Terrier and true to her nature a great working nanny dog. I'm a childminder and she has worked in my childminder setting from the age of 8 weeks old, earning employer of the month by saving a child from falling down the stairs.

Jetty has helped many children and parents overcome their fear of dogs. She supports many children with SEN in such a loving and patience way, by helping them to settle into the environment which can be very daunting to a child with specific differences but when they see the dogs they light up and lean on them for support.

Jet thinks and acts like a human, well better than some to tell the truth she is so smart and understands everything I say.

Jetty had a litter of pups and we kept one, and still in contact with the others, they are now 7 years old, Jet adores and still cares for Skylah as her little puppy. (see them in the photos)

Jetty-pants has currently had 6 weeks of Chemo and responding extremely well, she is still strong, bubbly, playful, loving, and barks along to her favourite song 'happy birthday '.

I would have never noticed the cancer except for lumps on her neck, as she is still the same bouncy staffy as always hence my urge to help her fight the cancer and live a healthy senior life.

Our insurance cover has reached its limit and I can't afford the further treatment with out the help from her loved ones and all those who love dogs and sympathise with our situation.

She is not just a dog she's my baby of 11 years. If you can please support the cause to fight and beat this awful disease. We as a family would be more than grateful for the life of Jet to be lived to the fullest.
