As of today, March 28th, 2022, hospice has given an estimation of days left for us to spend with our grandmother. They have also asked us to start preparing for her memorial services.
Once this tumor was found, it completely took over her body. For those unaware- she was diagnosed with a stage 4 Glioblastoma. This is a highly malignant brain tumor that arises from astrocytes, the supportive cells in the nervous system.
Grandma came home on the the 16th, and by the 18th it was suggested we look in to hospice care versus the home health care she was sent home with.
We have tried our best to make these past days as best as we could for her. She has received an overwhelming amount of love and appreciation from family, friends and bystanders. However, as these days continued, we saw a rapid decline in her health. She has slowly stopped eating and drinking, she is unable to speak, and is now using supplemental oxygen.
Please pray for Jett, in her last moments of life.
Please pray for our PaPa as he is letting the love of his life go.
Please pray for our family as we grieve the loss of someone who held the family together.
We are asking for any help you can offer for her cremation expenses and celebration of life that will be in the near future.
